Project Roundup
It has been an incredibly challenging Year for most businesses, and Roberts Graphics is thankful to have been able to continue to operate amidst the chaos and uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 crisis.
We’ve had a busy few months, with a number of notable international projects. In today’s blog, we take you through some of the highlights…
Roberts recently completed the purchase and resale of a Bobst SP 1600E Autoplaten from a client in Poland.
The SP1600E is the largest of the Bobst SP Autoplatens – removing the machine from Poland and delivering it to its new owner in Hungary certainly presented a logistical challenge for Roberts (but one that our team relished!).
Bobst Autoplatens are renowned for quality engineering, durability and excellent performance. Roberts Graphics was delighted, therefore, to supply a superb 1961 SP 900E to one of our longstanding clients in India.
The SP 900E has given years of good service to a carton Printer in Moldova, and should provide its new owners with a quality solution for many years to come.
Speaking of older generation machines, Roberts Graphics also confirmed the sale of a 2004 Bobst SP 1260E from the UK to Australia, along with a 1989 Kohmann window patcher.
Our team of engineers also completed the reconditioning of 1970 Heidelberg SBB and 1964 Heidelberg KSB Cutting and Creasing cylinders.
Both of these excellent machines underwent a live video test-run, prior to shipment to their new owner in China.
In a very busy period, Roberts was also responsible for rebuilding and shipping a 1998 Rabolini Imperia G to a client based in the Middle East, who had a very specific demand for a two metre-plus hand fed platen.
Roberts also took the opportunity to purchase and resell a number of newer Converting Machines, including a 2014 Duran Omega 80 carton gluer, which is on its way from Russia to a new owner in Ireland.
Continuing the international theme, we were pleased to supply a 2001 Iberica JR 105F automatic die cutter to a client in Pakistan, who has now purchased three further Die Cutters from Roberts Graphics.
We pride ourselves on building long-standing relationships with clients around the globe, and take great satisfaction in the amount of repeat business we receive on a regular basis.
